Two players face against each other in a battle against time to gather the largest following. 

Each player is either a frog or an axolotl, navigating the map to convert as many neutral or opponent’s followers as possible.

Some followers trigger special effects upon being converted, like exploding and causing a wave of conversion within a certain range, or start bouncing around the map, hitting a maximum of three walls before stopping and converting any followers that they come across.

 Regular followers, on the other hand, initially follow the player, until a neutral or an opponent’s follower comes into range, in which case they try to reach them in order to convert them. 

These mechanics are meant to increase the chain reaction effect of the game. Opponent’s followers take more time to convert. 

The player has to choose which type of follower to target strategically, making sure to optimize the exponential growth of their following.
