The short story

Simple Rogue-like is a fast little arena survival prototype. Cut through turrets and chasers, clear the wave, grab 1 of 3 permanent upgrades, and see how long you can keep the run alive while your score climbs.



The long story

Drop into the arena, keep moving, and try not to get boxed in.

Slash nearby enemies, fire at range, dodge out of trouble, and clear each wave before the next one gets a turn to embarrass you. Every cleared wave gives you a choice of 3 permanent upgrades for that run, so the goal is to snowball into something ridiculous before the arena wins.

Green pickups heal you, and yellow pickups boost your ranged damage for the current run.

This is an early prototype, so rough edges are part of the deal. The game starts slow and easy, but it gets crazy as you progress. If you play it, I would love feedback on what feels fun, what feels unfair, and what you think should be added next.

Controls

- `WASD` move

- `Space` dodge (immune to damage while dodging)

- Mouse aim / face direction

- Left click melee attack

- Right click ranged attack

- `R` restart after death
